The revolutionary energy storage
The carbon battery is based on the lead acid technology. Unlike lithium batteries standard lead acid batteries have a big discharge capacity (up to C3*). Indeed, a much longer charging time (up to 10 hours, =0,1) must be accepted to prevent sulfatization which would shorten the lifetime of the battery. The new carbon technology provides a solution for this problem: Using carbon guarantees much less sulfatization of the negative electrode. Thus, the battery can be charged up to 3 times faster (=0,3C) than a standard lead acid battery.
Modern lithium battery sytems can also be charged within less than an hour, but the discharge capacity is very low: It must not exceed 50-70% of the battery capacity (= C0,5-07).
The fast charging is a significant progress in thecarbon technology, since the charging current for the daily cycle mode can be adjusted at 20-30% of the battery capacity (= 0,2-0,3C). Therefore, it is possible to recharge a discharged battery within 1-3 hours.

The IRIS+TT series is our best “price-performance ratio“ 3/3 phase UPS. Based on our modular UPS technology, we are able to offer extremely small UPS 10-30kVA solutions. A combination of our modular based UPS with a special DC/DC converter, the IRIS+TT UPS can work with a battery voltage of only 192 to 240Vdc (adjustable). It allows to reduce space and the batteries needed as well as the price.
Parallel redundancy mode
Up to IRIS+TT systems can be connected in parallel to get maximum power capacity. Only one battery is necessary with the parallel redundancy mode.

Serie DPS
Absolute reliability and performance
To ensure its compatibility with the most demanding applications, the Aunilec DPS system can withstand a high short-circuit current, in order to guarantee the selectivity of the downstream protections. The fully DIGITAL microprocessor logic controls the power conversion, supervises operation, supports the system and modifies the parameters in case of component failure to assure power supply to the load.
If the load is highly distorted, the high frequency switching and the DPS loops support the system by keeping THD low. The Aunilec digital UPS units are fitted with a modern IGBT technology and a PWM modulation allowing to obtain a pure sinusoid output wave as required by the strictest standards contained in IEC EN 62040 class VFI-SS-III.
Ventilation may be redundant, allowing to keep a rated output load only using one half of the fans. The air flow sensors detect the ventilation drop and immediately trigger an alarm, allowing to replace the damaged fan.
