    HE - High Efficiency

    VEGA HE series is available from 100 to 800 kVA. The UPS features a new on-line double-conversion technology utilising IGBT and DSP (Digital Signal Processor) control to provide maximum protection, power quality and green energy for any type of application including datacentres, disaster recover sites, telecoms rooms, industrial processes and security applications.

    High efficiency stands for higher active power available if compared with legacy UPS thanks to output unitary power factor (up to +25% if compared unity with same UPS at p.f. 0,8). 

    Nominal power is granted with no downgrading independently from operating temperature in the range 10÷40°C. Furthermore, control circuits and specifically designed firmware grant outstanding online double conversion efficiency up to 95,5%, comparable with the best transformeless UPS available on the market.

  • Serie OP 5000-10000VA

    OP series - on-line double conversion

    The OP series consists of UPS 5000 VA to 10000 VA. The technology, On-Line Double Conversion, is able to guarantee a constant supply of private and any electrical interference, both in the presence or absence of voltage with the help of the battery. The management software allows monitoring, programming and supervision of the proper operation of powered devices. UPS OP series are particularly suitable for powering computer system networks (industrial automation, telecommunications ...). The study of the battery also drew our attention because it is one of the most fundamental parts of the UPS. Indeed, we have developed an innovative charging system ABM (Advanced Battery Management) which increases the lifetime of the battery and optimizing recharge time (3-level charging technology).

  • BC-PANIQUE for power sources

    Cabinet for power sources

    The panic lighting can be switched on or off while the presence of the public. If the light sources are off on standby, their automatic ignition must be provided from a sufficient number of power failure detection points. The establishment of a cabinet "BC-PANIC" allows the laying up of the anti-panic lighting (for power sources only).

    Associated with a permanent central source, it allows switching, ambient lighting in PERMANENT to NO PERMANENT mode. Recovery in PERMANENT mode can be done at any time manually or automatically on disappearance sector.

    AUPUS HE DC power systems consist of MHE rectifiers, VIDI2 controllers, Connections for mains and battery and load distribution. System is configurable to match with requirements of the application.

    Power factor correction in presence of harmonics

    In recent years, Power Factor Correction has evolved greatly due to the presence of generated harmonics by the loads. 

    These loads produce harmonic currents and voltage which distorts the network waveforms. The main sources of harmonics are generated by AC/DC static converters and UPS systems. For these reasons it is essential that any installation of Power Factor Correction equipment must be carefully evaluated. 

    The possible presence of harmonic currents in the network could create conditions of parallel resonance between the inductance of the network and the capacitors, generating overcurrents and overvoltages, which would cause premature failure of the power factor correction capacitors. The ideal power factor correction solution for any system must be determined by examination of the system parameters and harmonic spectrum.

    Designed for industrial and telecom applications

    The MHE rectifier utilizes Aunilec’s long experience and latest technology on high performance industrial power supplies. MHE rectifiers are designed to meet demanding requirements of utility, industrial, rail and telecom applications with high efficiency and reliability requirements. 

    MHE rectifiers are convection cooled and requires no fans. Rated output power is 2000 W in 48 V – 220 V output versions and 1500 W in 24 V version. Rectifier input is single phase, range 85-300 VAC.

    Harmonic current generator

    The Aunilec APF behaves like an harmonics current generator. It will measure the harmonic generated from the non-linear loads and cancel these harmonics with an opposite phase at the same amplitude.

    Power factor correction

    The Aunilec APF not only compensate harmonic current but also the reactive power. It is able to correct for either a leading or lagging power factor.

    LCD display

    The user friendly LCD display offers access to all parameters, waveforms, harmonic spectrum system power quality, settings, status and alarms, events log and language selection.

    What makes the difference ?

    Our VRLA Gel deep cycle batteries are conform to the cycles use test norm IEC61427. The batteries still provide 100% of the full capacity in Ampere-hour (Ah) after 148 cycles.

    Our Gel deep cycle batteries use high-tin alloy grid which increase corrosion resistance of plates and lengthen the service life. High-tight assembly technics, they accept very high charge and high current discharge performance. 

    In combination  with our Hybrid Solar UPS solutions, the battery offers the best possible performance. For standart UPS application , the battery has a design lifetime of 10-12 years.

    The revolutionary energy storage

    Unlike lithium batteries standard lead acid batteries have a big discharge capacity (up to C3*). Indeed, a much longer charging time (up to 10 hours, =0,1) must be accepted to prevent sulfatization which would shorten the lifetime of the battery. The new lead carbon technology provides a solution for this problem: Using carbon additives guarantees much less sulfatization of the negative electrode. Thus, the battery can be charged faster than a standard lead acid battery.

    Modern lithium battery sytems can also be charged within less than an hour, but the discharge capacity is very low: It must not exceed 50-70% of the battery capacity (= C0,5-07). The fast charging is a significant progress in lead carbon technology, since the charging current for the daily cycle mode can be adjusted at 20-40% of the battery capacity (= 0,2-0,4C). Therefore, it is possible to recharge a discharged battery within several hours.

    The AUPUS Inverter system is a redundant, fault tolerant system. Inverter system is optimal solution when long autonomy time and long battery service life are required. Inverter system is compatible with several battery configurations. Inverter system fits in the standard 19” racks and cabinets. EIM inverters efficiencies are high, up to 90%. 

    The AUPUS Inverter system has a modular construction. The inverter modules can be combined with static switch, manual bypass, AC distribution and 3-phase synchronization modules based on customer’s needs.

    The AUPUS Inverter system can be integrated in the same cabinet as Aunilec DC power systems with advanced VIDI+ controller, temperature sensors and battery monitoring.
