This ultimate solution is rated at output power factor 1 and defined as ON LINE double conversion technology in accordance with VFI-SS-111 classification (as set out in standard IEC EN 62040-3). MULTI PLUS is designed and built using state-of-the-art technology and components. These new devices are the result of a research and development action undertaken by our company, aimed at achieving maximum reliability and better performance in the field of energy supply systems. It was not chosen to implement only traditional energy conversion systems (isolation transformer with a bridge thyristor), but to combine the flexibility and advance of a digital microcontroller logic. AC/DC conversion unit with thyristor technology and a controlled full bridge configuration. Use in filtered regulated power supply and battery charger with variable voltage from 24Vdc to 31Vdc with adjustment by potentiometer on the front of the unit. Electronic controls make RCRFn rectifiers reliable and increase battery life.

Line-interactive technology

Line interactive technology is mostly used for enterprise networks and IT applications. It protects from blackout, undervoltage and overvoltage. In normal mode, the device is controlled by a microprocessor that monitors the quality of the supply and reacts to fluctuations. A voltage stabilizer (AVR) is enabled to boost or reduce the supply voltage to compensate the input voltage fluctuations.  The main advantage of this technology is that it enables compensation of under- and overvoltage without using the batteries.

Performances of these machines are remarkable: besides the standard connection with the PC and server through the USB port, there are also other hardware and software solutions available to interface all operating systems and to implement power redundancies. This models can also be used in working places different from the IT world: in fact they are able to power typically industrial loads as well without disturbances or interferences, protecting users remaining immune to disturbances.

BC panic option

The revolutionary energy storage

The carbon battery is based on the lead acid technology. Unlike lithium batteries standard lead acid batteries have a big discharge capacity (up to C3*). Indeed, a much longer charging time (up to 10 hours, =0,1) must be accepted to prevent sulfatization which would shorten the lifetime of the battery. The new carbon technology provides a solution for this problem: Using carbon guarantees much less sulfatization of the negative electrode. Thus, the battery can be charged up to 3 times faster (=0,3C) than a standard lead acid battery.

Modern lithium battery sytems can also be charged within less than an hour, but the discharge capacity is very low: It must not exceed 50-70% of the battery capacity (= C0,5-07).

The fast charging is a significant progress in thecarbon technology, since the charging current for the daily cycle mode can be adjusted at 20-30% of the battery capacity (= 0,2-0,3C). Therefore, it is possible to recharge a discharged battery within 1-3 hours.
